Problem
Clients needed an easy wasy to edit their pages without requiring dev work.

Solution
Create a simple platform to complete 100% of the changes clients request.

  • Mapping the Experience

    Working with a BA I started documenting the scope of the problem and understanding what content needed to be included and what the most common update requests that came from clients.




  • Branding Configuration

    We focused on developing a user-friendly interface that consolidates all branding elements in one place. This approach ensures that clients can easily manage and update their branding without needing extensive technical knowledge.

    • Simple Config Data Points: I created the branding configuration page with a focus on simplicity.
    • Designer Independence: Ensured that it could be set up without requiring a designer.
    • Token-Based Colors: Used tokens like Primary and Secondary instead of hex values to ensure easy color swapping between clients without breaking the system.

  • Creating Client-Specific Experiences

    After setting up the branding configuration page, we were able to create unique, client-branded experiences effortlessly.

    • Select Content to Promote: Easily select or deselect content.
    • Easy to Change Environments: Support different content approval processes for each client.
    • Track Promotion Status: Monitor the status of content promotions in real-time.

    Working with a BA I put together a basic flow so that we could get something started and figure out the structure while getting buy in from leadership.




  • Phase 2

    The next step would be creating flows for the most common task, starting with a Landing Page.




  • Results Achieved

    The Client Configuration Tool significantly streamlined the process of updating client pages. By providing a user-friendly interface, clients were able to make changes independently without the need for developer or designer intervention. This resulted in:
